baap of all smartphones samsung galaxy note ii

Samsung took the wraps of the successor of the Galaxy Note at IFA trade show in Berlin. Larger and much powerful, the phablet will have a bigger 5.5 inch Super AMOLED HD display with a 1280 x 720p resolution. The Note II will be powered by 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and paired with 2GB RAM.

Topping the hardware specs will be the Android Jelly Bean, making it amongst the first few devices to run on the latest operating system. At 9.4 mm, the Note II will be slightly thinnner than its predecessor but with a bigger battery it is 2 grams heavier.

The highlight of the Note series of devices is its digital Pen 'S-Pen' that is compatible with many apps. With the Note II, the touch response has been further improved and a rubber tip has been awarded to the Pen so that if offers a much natural experience. There is a new feature known as 'Air View' that allows users to hover the S-Pen over e-mail, gallery or video to preview the content without touching the screen.  Another feature called Quick Command gets enabled when the user swipes the S-Pen upwards which brings up quick short-cuts for an array of widely used features like e-mail, search, and voice calls.

Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available in Marble White and Titanium Grey starting October.
